Plot Overview

A young retarded boy who witnessed a mob hit is taken into protective custody by Ironside. However, the boy still winds up dead when the Chief takes him out for a boat ride and their boat is rammed and the boy drowns accidentally. Ironside is so upset by the boy's death that he quits the force and becomes a bum on Skid Row.
