The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is Canada's state-owned national broadcaster, also going by the French name la Société Radio-Canada (SRC). It operates several radio networks, two television networks, several cable television channels, and a number of news/entertainment websites. It also formerly owned the cable channel Bold (originally CBC Country Canada, which has since been sold to Blue Ant Media and renamed Cottage Life TV) and digital music service Galaxie (which has since been sold to Stingray Digital and renamed Stingray Music).
