Biography

"Weird Al" Yankovic is best known for his music, which is humor based and many times parodies of popular songs. He recorded his first song, "My Bologna" (a parody of the Knack's "My Sharona") in a restroom of USC in Los Angeles. In 1980 it was played on the Dr. Demento radio show where it became an instant hit. His second hit, "Another One Rides The Bus", a parody of Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust", was recorded in Dr. Demento's studio during one of his radio shows.
