Plot Overview
General Savage has had it with Captain Gallagher, who comes from a military family, including having a two-star General for a father. He thinks Gallagher works too much on his own impulses, which tends to lead to failure, and refuses to give him a promotion, instead putting him in command with a crew of misfits.
