Season 5 is the fifth 24 season to be released on DVD, it is scheduled for release on December 5, 2006.

Overview

Unlike the previous 24 sets, this box set has switched to several discs in individual "thinpak" packaging inside a slipcase box as opposed to the foldout cardboard packaging that was used in many 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment releases. Also differing from previous sets is the choice of artwork. The slipcase artwork was chosen in a poll on the FOX website which allowed fans to vote on one of five different choices.
