Plot Overview
A glamorous actress causes major complications for Jeff...first, she hires him to set up a fake robbery of her expensive jewelry (an offer he turns down), then when real thieves knock him cold and steal not only jewelry from her safe, but also old love letters, she accuses Jeff of arranging the theft to get the letters for blackmail purposes. When the letters fall into the hands of a gossip columnist, Jeff must find out who gave her the letters to clear his name of the blackmail allegations.
