Plot Overview
After receiving a number of death threats, a judge hires Spencer to protect him. Jeff tries to ascertain whether it's someone he put away, someone involved with the mobster whose trial he's overseeing, the judge's younger wife or her overprotective uncle, who is an eccentric magician. When the deadly deed is done, the uncle confesses to the crime, saying that he floated over to the judge's penthouse apartment from the building across the way. Jeff has to wonder whether the old man is telling the truth or if he's confessing to protect his niece.
