Plot Overview
Jeff is summoned out of a sound sleep and rushes to a glamorous actress's dressing room on what appears to be an emergency. The whole thing is a hoax, as a speeding car attempts to run him down outside the theater. After a series of threatening letters and further attempts on his life, Jeff, against the advice of both Stu and Lt. Gilmore, plans a ruse to get the killer to show himself. The would-be killer is a fellow soldier he served with in Korea, who claims that Jeff was collaborating with the enemy while he and many other soldiers were held in a P.O.W. camp.

Characters
First appearance of Robert Logan as J.R. Hale, who will eventually succeed Kookie as the valet at Dino's after Kookie becomes a Junior Partner in the agency. Interestingly, Logan's character is billed as 'Bob' in this episode, rather than J.R.
