Plot Overview
A friend of Bailey's, a newspaper writer and author just released from prison, becomes the target of a murder attempt shortly thereafter. What the private eye doesn't know is that his friend was writing an expose on the Syndicate that could result in a number of higher-ups taking a fall. Stu has to find out just who is antsy enough to keep the book from going into print.
