Plot Overview
A man is paroled after 15 years for killing his wife, though the body was never found. He hires Stu to find his daughter, who wants nothing to do with him once he finds her. She's living with her father's former partner in an architectural firm, and he gets a visit from a woman she believes is her mother, who was thought to be dead, and then an insidious plan is revealed where the partner would get the designs and she'd get enough money to get out of the marriage. Stu thinks that he can tie the whole thing together and get vindication for his client, but when the wife is found murdered for real this time, he has a new case to work.
