Plot Overview
A series of threatening phone calls are made to local businesses, and Carella discovers that all the places being threatened are very close to other businesses containing lots of money or objects of value. The squad determines that a bank is the target, and they're right--a suave criminal is leading a gang who are planning to dismantle a wall to enter a vault full of money.
