AWA Championship Wrestling was a professional wrestling program that aired on ESPN. It was produced by the American Wrestling Association.
The AWA program archive, including AWA Championship Wrestling, was purchased by World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002, and is currently part of its WWE Libraries division. However, because of its involvement in co-production of the series, ESPN has co-ownership of the AWA Championship Wrestling archive, which has enabled them to rebroadcast the show on its classic sports channel ESPN Classic.
