From The TV IV
- This was a Canadian/United Kingdom/France co-production and despite having stories set all over the world, filming was restricted to Toronto (Canada), Bristol (United Kingdom), and Marseilles (France) and the surrounding districts.
- When filming in Toronto Judson's ship was the Vast Explorer and when in Marseille the Janus II (on loan from a friend).
- Filmed in 16:9 widescreen, but generally broadcast in 4:3 pan and scan.
