Beyond the Missing Link is the third episode of the first season of Adventure Inc., and the third episode overall.

Plot Overview

Mackenzie finds the cash strapped Judson a meeting with a middle man in the sale of lost fossil of The Sunda Man a species believed to have a life span of at least 150 years. At the meeting the man is killed and Judson and Mackenzie escape with the fossil.

Word soon gets around that Judson has the fossil. He meets Professor Friedrich Halpern who's father Judson had seen years ago and Halpern's grandfather Emile had worked on the fossil before him on bone marrow research. The professor is desperate to buy the fossil but more wealthier parties also want it.

Another attack on Judson for the fossil and Mackenzie is shot. A fake funeral brings the interested parties out into the open. The fossil used to be in East Germany and reappeared after the fall of the iron curtain owned by Bonaparte Richter who wants money something Caroline Caldwell will pay, but Professor Halpern and his men have their own deperate reasons to posess The Sunda Man and why does Halpern resemble Emile.
