Michael "Mike" Stivic is a character on All in the Family, played by Rob Reiner.

Basic Information
Mike Stivic is Gloria Stivic's husband and Archie Bunker's son-in-law. He is a political leftist, a social liberal and an agnostic (though he sometimes claims to be an atheist) who keeps on telling Archie he doesn't see proof of God, as well as getting into arguments with the more conservative Archie over a variety of political and social topics which they disagree on. Archie responds by nicknaming him "Meathead".

Memorable Moments
- In Season 7, Mike got a vascectomy after finding out Gloria was pregnant with a second child. However, after the operation, he finds out Gloria isn't pregnant after all.
