Band of Brothers, a 10-episode miniseries based on the historical non-fiction book of the same name by writer Stephen Ambrose, tells the story of Easy Company, one of the subdivisions of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division during World War II. The miniseries follows Easy Company from their training at Camp Toccoa, Georgia through the cessation of hostilities in the European theater, showing Easy's role in several major conflicts such as the D-Day invasion and the Battle of the Bulge, among others.

The similar - but unrelated - HBO series The Pacific aired in 2010.
