Plot Overview
Bat discovers that Shad, his partner in a Denver casino, has been stealing from the till, and gives him either thirty days to raise the money to buy him out or Bat buys him out. One way or another, the partnership is over. Bat hires Marri, an old friend from San Francisco, to be 'keeper of the guns'. What he doesn't know is that Shad is her husband and that he's using her young son as leverage to force her into his scheme to violently take over the casino.
