Twists
- For further detail, please refer to the Season Six Episode Guide.
Week 1
- Makosi underwent a secret mission as the 13th Unlucky Housemate. Being picked as the Unlucky Housemate, Makosi was automatically put up for eviction, but would receive immunity if she received the most votes for eviction. She received four votes for eviction, and thus was given immunity. In a further twist, she was prompted to nominate the two people who would be up for eviction, and she nominated Craig and Mary for the public vote.
- Mary and Craig had each received only one nomination.
- Had week one proceeded as normal, Makosi, Sam, and Roberto would have faced the public vote.
Week 2
- Since Vanessa broke a fundamental rule of Big Brother that prohibits explicit talk about nominations, Big Brother as a punishment put up all housemates up for eviction.
- Lesley had received only one nomination.
- Had week two proceeded as normal, Derek and Sam would have faced the public vote.
Week 3
- Since Craig, Derek, and Roberto broke a fundamental rule of Big Brother that prohibits explicit talk about nominations, Big Brother as a punishment banned them from nominating.
Week 4
- Nominations proceeded as normal and there were no nomination or eviction twists this week.
Week 5
- Since Anthony and Maxwell broke a fundamental rule of Big Brother that prohibits explicit talk about nominations, Big Brother as a punishment banned them from nominating.
Week 6
- Nominations proceeded as normal and there were no nomination or eviction twists this week.
Week 7
- Big Brother sent the housemates a message saying that Big Brother would lie to them twice that week.
- Big Brother's first lie was that nominations for the week were optional. As a result, Derek, Eugene, Makosi, Orlaith, Science, and Vanessa did not nominate. The six of them broke a fundamental rule of Big Brother that states that all nominations are compulsory, and as a result they were put up for eviction.
- Big Brother's second lie was lying about who was nominated. That week, it was announced that Anthony, Craig, and Kemal were the three people facing eviction, even though they were the only ones who were safe.
- Big Brother's final twist that week was that the housemates had to decide which of the two housemates with the highest percentage of votes of eviction was to leave the Big Brother house. Both Vanessa and Makosi received the highest number of votes, and the housemates votes off Vanessa in a 6-1 vote.
Week 8
- Nominations proceeded as normal and there were no nomination or eviction twists this week.
Week 9
- Big Brother asked the housemates to vote for the two people they'd like to save from the public vote. The two or more people with the lowest number of votes to save were put up for eviction. Both Kemal and Orlaith received only one vote to save.
Week 10
- Because of Orlaith's decision to Walk, Big Brother replaced Orlaith with Kinga, the housemate who was ejected from The Secret Garden and failed to become a true housemate. Kinga underwent a secret mission where she will receive immunity if any housemate does not nominate her for eviction.
- Kinga received no nominations from her fellow housemates and as a result passed her secret mission. After only being in the house for one week, she is guaranteed a spot in the Final Five, but faces eviction on Wednesday with the remaining housemates.
Week 11
- In the final week of gameplay, housemates do not nominate and all of them face eviction. However, instead for the public voting who they want to evict from the house, the public votes for who they want to win the game. The housemate with the highest percentage of votes becomes the winner of Big Brother 6.
- On Wednesday, the housemate with the lowest percentage of votes to win is evicted in a special Eviction Episode. Craig received the lowest percentage of votes, with only 4.1% at the time polling stopped for the first time, and finished in fifth place.
- Kinga received fourth place with 3.8% of the public vote at the time polling stopped for the second time.
- Makosi was awarded third place with 8.7% of the votes at the time polling stopped for the third time.
- Eugene was the runner-up of Big Brother 6 when he received 42.7% of the public vote when polls closed for the last time.
- Anthony won Big Brother 6 with 57.3% of the vote.
