Blue Heelers/DVD Releases

First DVD Release

In November 2005, Paramount Home Entertainment released their first Blue Heelers boxed set in the Australian, Region 4 format. They called this ‘Blue Heelers – The Complete First Season’ and this was shortly followed by ‘Blue Heelers – The Complete Second Season: Part 1’ and ‘Blue Heelers – The Complete Second Season: Part 2’ which were released together in December 2005. The seasons, as quoted on the DVDs, do not refer to the year that the episodes aired but to the year the episodes were produced. For example, the season which aired in 1994 is contained on DVDs Season 1, Season 2: Part 1 and Season 2: Part 2; 1995 is on Season 2: Part 2, Season 3: Part 1 and Season 3: Part 2. Paramount released from Season 1 to Season Six in this way as indicated in the tables below. These DVDs were released from November 2005 - August 2006.

Second DVD Release

In January 2007, it was announced that on 15th February 2007 the Blue Heelers DVDs would be released in one whole season rather than the two parts that they were initially released as. The DVD box sets now consist of 10 or 11 disc sets. At this time they were still only released in Australian Region 4 format.
