Season Ten of Bonanza premiered on September 15, 1968.

A new horn and percussion-heavy arrangement of the familiar Livingston-Evans theme was introduced, having a bright, marching band feel. This theme would be used until 1970. In addition, a new opening slide of David Canary was used in the opening credits.
