Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak is a game show that aired on ABC daytime. It was piloted three years earlier as Party Line with Gene Rayburn as host.
Two gender-specific teams of five players per team compete. Each team tried to communicate a word from one member to another (the other four are wearing headphones so they cannot hear the other descriptions) in forty seconds without repeating any key words. The team members score $100 for each successful communication with a possible maximum for $400. Two rounds are played; round three pays off $200 for every successful communication.
The winning team vies for $10,000. The team captain is shown a subject then gave four words or names associated with it. Each team member had five seconds to identify the subject with each correct guess worth $200. The next word was worth $300. The last word multiplies the winnings by five provided they get all four words.
