Plot Overview
An unpopular Hollywood agent is found dead at the steps leading upstairs in his house, a letter opener stuck squarely in his throat. When the autopsy reveals that he really died from an overdose of sleeping pills mixed in with his stomach elixir, Burke focuses his investigation on the man's current wife and three ex-wives.
