Plot Overview
The top tennis player in the country is sent straight to that great court in the sky, thanks to an explosive tennis ball. Burke and his men try to determine who's at fault from a volley of suspects: his top competitor, a Marlon Brando-wannabe; his fiancee and her sister, a dentist who tried to talk her out of the marriage, possibly to have him for herself; his ball boy, who's obsessed with Dick Tracy and offering Amos leads on the case; his ex-wife, who had a son with him to keep him financially tethered to her; and his hapless manager. The case eventually hinges on the fact that the victim had an older brother who was given up for adoption at birth.
