Plot Overview
On the set of a cheesy B-movie, a difficult young actress is killed by electrocution during a bathtub scene. Amos and Peter have a cast of suspects to choose from, including a couple of ex-boyfriends (one who's a stuntman, the other a heavy metal rock star), an ex-husband, a producer whom she may have been involved with, and the producer's wife. Complicating matters for Peter: he knew the dead girl from college and dated her. An autopsy discovers that the girl wasn't really electrocuted, but poisoned by an organic compound leeched into the bath water.

Trivia
The Show
Just like in the first episode of the original Burke's Law, what apparently kills the victim is not what kills the victim. Here, the young murder victim is originally thought to have been electrocuted, but instead was really poisoned with a compound whose symptoms mimic those of electrocution. In "Who Killed Holly Howard?", the first episode of the original series, the victim appeared to have been shot to death, but an autopsy revealed drowning as the real cause of death.
Behind the Scenes
Allusions and References
Amos pays a visit to rock star Roger Rose on the set of his latest video to question him about the dead girl. Rose is played by real-life rocker Bret Michaels (lead singer of the band Poison), and the song in the video being filmed is one of Poison's hits, "Unskinny Bop".
