Plot Overview

Injured during the pursuit of car thieves, Ponch is assigned special duty by Getraer: overseeing the CHP's Explorers group, affectionately known as the 'Brat Patrol'. The group, comprised of nerdy Roland, fat Gordo, flirtatious Becky Lou, rebellious Johnny, jive-talking C.T. and activist Linda, is then utilized by Ponch and Bobby to help capture the thieves. Kathy and Bruce track down a dope pusher who's victimizing an apartment complex.
