Plot Overview
Jon and Ponch oversee the CHP's BMX racing team, of which Getraer's young son is a member. When Timmy Getraer is critically injured in a traffic accident, it is obviously first and foremost on his dad's mind, which creates a situation after he brings in a drug pusher and fails to properly secure the evidence against him. The two officers discover that their Sergeant is dogging the released suspect on his off-time and offer to help him put the pusher back in jail. Ponch also gets acquainted with a juvenile delinquent during a bike safety presentation and gets the boy involved in the BMX team in an effort to straighten him out.
