Plot Overview
Jon is riding with new trainee T.C. when he's deliberately struck by a van and critically injured. Ponch initially blames the new guy for leaving his injured partner alone by the side of the road to pursue the driver, but backs off and apologizes once he finds out that Jon told him to give chase. Not long after, T.C. discovers cut wires by the side of Ponch's car, and sure enough, there's a bomb in the engine. The game plan now is to find someone who's got it in for both Jon and Ponch, and Getraer, with the help of the new recruit, uncovers a man out to avenge his brother's death during a car chase. Meanwhile, the officers have a pool going in the precinct, taking bets on just when the overly perfect T.C. will finally screw up.
