Plot Overview
Ponch is critically injured during the pursuit of a stunt cyclist involved in a daring jewel theft. Roy Yarnell and his stunt show just happen to be in town, and Jon initially suspects him of committing the theft to gain publicity. Getraer doesn't want Jon involved, feeling that he's too close to the situation, but when he's burned in his attempt to nail the crook, he allows Jon to dust off the Supercycle, the only vehicle that can keep up.Jon also becomes involved with a cute new female officer who comes from Sacramento, but everyone else thinks she's a spy from the main precinct.
