CKX-TV is a now-defunct Canadian local station located in Brandon, Manitoba. It broadcast on analog VHF channel 5 with a digital channel allocation of 49 (which never went on the air prior to the station's shutdown). It was primarily affiliated with CBC Television throughout its existence, and it later had a secondary affiliation with CHUM Limited's NewNet/A-Channel system (which later became A, now CTV 2, under the ownership of CTV). The station was closed by owner CTV Inc. on October 2, 2009 following their supper-hour newscast at 6 p.m., after a planned sale of the station to Bluepoint Investment Corporation fell through.
