Time Displacement versus Time Travel
You're going to have to be a little more specific with the description here - does "displacement" mean only traveling between two time periods? Can it be done more than once in the show? Because Inuyasha takes place in two time periods, as Kagome does go to her home time on a regular basis and has adventures there. I consider that "travel". -- Lampbane 17:20, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
Okay yeah that does seem like kind of a middle ground the show's description made it seem like she was stuck in the past. It probably fits in both categories then since the show will have elements of a time displacement show (ie her slowly getting more accustumed to the one time period) but also includes time travel as a main plot device. I almost didn't create both categories but decided the two types of shows were suffciently different in theme to warrant separte sub-categories (and some displacement shows like Futurama don't involve time travel too).The-jam 17:58, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
- Oddly enough, she really doesn't get USED to it, since the reason she goes home is to go to school and take tests. No foolin'. -- Lampbane 21:07, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
- Oh, and I also plan to rewrite the description soon, especially as it really should explain the role of the friggin' title character. When I finally do that, I may re-add the category. -- Lampbane 22:42, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
