Plot Overview
In order to save a kidnapped college student, Annabeth denies the accused kidnapper access to a lawyer, knowing full well that any evidence discovered when they find her will be inadmissible. Maureen deals with a veteran cop, an old friend who helped her win a number of cases in the past, who deliberately refused to give a blood alcohol test to a fellow detective involved in a fatal traffic accident.
