Plot Overview

The date is February 16, 1978. A fire at a popular disco kills 22 people. During recent construction work at the site, a 23rd body was found in an underground room, that of a popular disco dancer who died from a bullet wound to the head. Believing that the fire was a cover-up for the murder, Lilly and Scotty go to work interviewing the dancer's partner, who was critically burned in the fire, as well as another dancer who was a rival for the dead man's affection, and several other dancers who believed that they were better. Additionally, the victim's father also becomes a suspect, as he was upset with his son's plans to marry a Gentile girl and turn his back on his faith.
