Crank Yankers is an unscripted comedy series that acts out prank phone calls using puppets. The series premiered on July 3, 2003 and lasted for three seasons before being cancelled by Comedy Central. On July 14, 2006 it was announced at the Television Critics Association press tour that the series would be resurrected for new episodes on MTV2's Sic 'Em Friday block.
