Plot Overview
A two-bit private eye asks for Mike's help on a case before he's fatally gunned down. A punk caught rifling the dead detective's office turns out to be a client, a kid looking for his missing girlfriend, who ran off to Vegas with a friend, leaving no trace of her whereabouts. Weisbord asks Luca to find his granddaughter, who's somewhere in Vegas and may be in serious trouble. It isn't long before the Task Force and Luca discover that they're both looking for the same girl, who has gotten herself mixed up with a sleazy pornographer. Pauli tracks down Abrams in the desert and brings Luca to see him. Luca tells the lawyer that it was Bartoli who ordered the hit that mistakenly killed his father and not him, and also makes him an offer to work for the Mob.
