Plot Overview
It's a simple 'messenger job' for Torello--pick up a prisoner who escaped from an Arizona jail with only 30 days to go on a sentence for misdemeanor assault. When the punk kid, who seemed cooperative at first, escapes, Mike is determined to get him, even more so when bodies start piling up. As it turns out, the Arizona cops who want the prisoner turned over to them aren't cops at all, but mobsters who want to kill him, and when their car breaks down, Torello, his prisoner and his girlfriend are caught up in a fight for survival in the desert, with the rest of the Task Force searching for them.
