Plot Overview
Notes
Unlike the series, which is shot in a modified cinema verité style, the Curb Your Enthusiasm special is a "mockumentary"- the difference being that in a mockumentary, the characters are aware of and occasionally address the camera. This is shown in the first scene, where Larry and Jeff wave to the camera as they exit the elevator. Cinema verité follows a documentary visual style but the camera is not alluded to or addressed- as in any other sitcom, the camera is not actually "there". This is the only episode produced by Hofflund/Polone.
