Plot Overview

The body of a street kid is found, appearing to be beaten to death, potentially because he was working as an informant. The case strikes up strong emotions in Dominic as it reminds him of something that happened to him in his past.

Arc Advancement

  • Dominic had a brother named Gabriel who was beaten to death when he was young. It's fair to assume that he named his daughter, Gabriella, in his memory.
  • Dominic started drinking when he was about 13 following the murder of his brother.
  • In addition to going to alcoholics meetings, Dominic is also seeing a therapist.
  • It's revealed Dominic and Patricia have been divorced for two years.
