Plot Overview

An elderly woman is found dead in the washroom she was apparently living in.

A limo a man dies in is stolen before the body can be picked up.

• Kurtz is ready to put the missing prostitutes into the unsolved department. Kosmo argues that some of the girls and regulars johns are starting to trust her. She wants another month, but Kurtz gives her a week-to-week basis.

Leo: Hang on. I'll get it.

(Leo fiddles with it some more)

Mick: Stand back for a sec and let me give it a try.

(Mick kicks over the newspaper box)

Leo: That'll do it.

Mick: I paid for two. I'm taking two. You want one?

Leo: Nah, that stuff's a lot of crap. Hey, you want to go by my house, take a crack at the other one while you're at it?

Mick: Sure.

• Dominic: You're writing a novel?

Helen: If you laugh at me, I'm going to go to my desk and sharpen a pencil.

Dominic: No, I think you should go ahead and write a novel. I think it'll be very interesting. I'd like to read it. I'll be number one to read that book. Just don't make me look bad, okay?

Helen: That's what erasers are for, boss. (off his look) I'm kidding.

• Dominic: And what's the word on that missing limo?

Helen: Nothing.

Dominic: No word.

Helen: They're waiting for you in autopsy.

Dominic: Yeah, well, at least they managed to hold on to one body today. That's pretty good.
