Plot Overview
Danger Mouse and Penfold have their holiday in Venice interrupted by a road construct along the grand canal. Baron Greenback has gotten hold of a document which gives him the legal right of way, so he plans to cover up all of Europe's tourist sites with car parks, shopping precincts, roundabout and flyovers, forcing everyone to visit his museum of Barry Manilow record sleeves. DM and Penfold grab hold of the document, only Penfold loses it. Our heroes are booked passage on the Orient Express, where they are to deliver the document back to London, but nobody believes Penfold when he says a fish ate the document (which it did).
