Biography
Born June 8, 1969 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. At 6'1", his athletic prowess for basketball and hockey is no surprise. Initially pursuing a basketball career, a serious back injury thwarted this goal and ultimately lead him to pursue acting full-time. While at the University of Toronto, his college roommate, an up and coming playwright, helped David Sutcliffe break into acting. While completing a degree in English Literature, he honed his skills as a theatrical actor. He moved to New York where he continued to find work in television commercials. In the last twelve years, Sutcliffe has created an impressive resume of television series and movies in both Canada and the United States where his acting abilities continue to grow and he continues to be a notable presence on screen.
