Trivia

The Show

  • Roger Delgado's final performance as the Master. A story entitled The Final Game was being developed to wrap up the Master's arc at the end of Season 11, but never came to fruition due to Delgado's death and the character was shelved until The Deadly Assassin.

Behind the Scenes

  • Episode five was sent out to Australia with the unused "Delaware Theme", a poorly received arrangement that had been applied to several episodes before being edited out.
  • Pertwee named the Draconians as his favourite monster of the show, largely because of how expressive they were and thus easier to act alongside than with than the Daleks.

Memorable Moments

Goofs

  • For episode two, the page of cast credits accidentally reprises the names of Louis Mahoney and Roy Pattison from episode one despite not appearing, leaving Lawrence Davidson and Timothy Craven uncredited.
