Plot Overview
Abby goes to court for her mother, Maggie's competency hearing and testifies that her mother shouldn't be released from the hospital; Benton helps out his old junior high school teacher when he suffers from a heart attack and ends up injuring himself helping a biker while en route to the hospital in the ambulance; Benton also deals with caring for Reese after Carla is hospitalized for an ankle fracture; Weaver treats an elderly woman who used to be the host of a children's TV show that Weaver used to watch when she was a kid; Carter treats a pregnant young woman who suffers from a miscarriage and discovers that the woman's boyfriend is responsible for causing it.
