Plot Overview

Kem goes to work with Carter for the day to observe the ER; while on a paramedic ride-along, Gallant encounters a frightened young boy who was caught in the middle of a domestic disturbance involving his parents; Weaver surprises everyone by announcing the unveiling of The Robert Romano Center for Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgendered Health Care; Chen calls from China to let Pratt know that her mother died; while treating two patients, Pratt questions his abilities as a doctor.
