Plot Overview

Carter, Luka and Corday head to the scene of a train wreck; when Corday suffers from early contractions at the scene, Carter is forced to perform a double amputation on a firefighter pinned under one of the trains by himself with the guidance of Benton over the radio and phone; Luka tends a mother impaled and her son who has a severe head injury caused from the accident; a medical school applicant observes Benton at work; Mark undergoes competency testing in order to keep practicing medicine.
