Family Feud is a game show that aired on CBS. It is the third version of Family Feud. On June 29, 1992, the show was expanded to one-hour and renamed The Family Feud Challenge. The final original episode of the show aired on March 29, 1993, although the show continued airing reruns until it was completely cancelled on September 10, 1993.
Game play was identical to the ABC edition. Also, if a family team hits three strikes, each member of the opposing family gives the head of the team ideas about a steal answer.
Upon becoming The Family Feud Challenge, the new "Bullseye" element was added. Families are staked to a $2500 potential Fast Money jackpot which can be built upon progressively in this segment. Each member of the family participated; a survey question is asked. The object is to give the survey's most popular response to add the value of the question to the family's jackpot. The value of the questions in the first half of the show are $500, $1000, $1500, $2000 and $2500. In the second half, the previous show's winning family replaces the current show's defeated family. The Bullseye stake per family is now $5000 with answers now worth $1000, $2000, $3000, $4000 and $5000.
