- "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" -- Tom Tucker and Joyce Kinney (along with their rival anchors from other TV stations) are moderating a Thanksgiving Day parade, much in the style of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and other similar parades.
- "The Simpsons" -- In a spot gag, Stewie sees a balloon likeness of himself in the parade; a similar gag was shown years earlier in The Simpsons Thanksgiving-themed episode "Bart vs. Thanksgiving" (a balloon likeness of Bart Simpson, but only after Bart and Homer turn their attention away from the TV just before the balloon appears on-screen).
