  • Peanuts: The frequent gag of Lucy trying to get Charlie Brown to kick a football, only for Lucy to pull it away out of sadistic malice, is parodied as part of the motif concerning Peter's obsession with the movie Roadhouse. (Here, Peter confronts Lucy, beats her to a pulp and makes her let Charlie kick the football … all before knocking Lucy unconscious with one final roundhouse kick "for giving bad advice and not being a licensed psychologist.")
