Extra Large Medium is the twelfth episode of the eighth season of Family Guy, and the one hundred thirty-ninth episode overall.

The introductory story of Chris and Stewie becoming lost in the woods, and their parents' enlisting a psychic to help find them, splinters off into the two main plots. In one plot, viewers are treated to a rare Chris-Stewie story as Chris tries to begin a relationship with a classmate named Ellen, a teen-aged girl who has Down syndrome. The other half of the plot centers on Lois - and then Peter - becoming obsessed with psychics, and for Peter, it will have deadly consequences for an innocent person.
