Killer Queen is the sixteenth episode of the tenth season of Family Guy, and the one hundred eighty-seventh episode overall.

The episode's title serves as the driver for the show's subplot, which centers on Stewie experiencing trauma after viewing the cover of an album by the rock group Queen. The main plot centers on Peter and Chris going to a special camp for overweight teenagers, where a killer is at work. Concern abounds that Patrick Pewterschmidt -- Lois' mentally ill brother -- has escaped the residential mental health facility where he is incarcerated, and is the culprit.

Plot Overview

Quahog is having a hot dog eating contest. Peter enters Chris into the contest against Lois's advise. Chris will be competing against several contestants, including the hot dog eating champion, Charles Yamamoto. The contest begins while the other contestants give up, Chris and Yamamoto, continue. As time is running down for Chris and Yamamoto, Chris wins. However, Chris starts to feel the aches and pains as a result. Lois berates Peter for causing Chris to feel the pains and checks Chris into a fat camp for overweight kids. Peter (though not a kid himself) is entered to lose weight as well. While at the camp, Peter and Chris discover a dead fat kid and the police are called. In charge of the investigation, Joe deduces that because there was trauma on the child's face, he had been strangled. Thinking for a second, Peter figures that there is one person capable of strangling fat guys. That person being Lois's brother Patrick. According to Joke, he would fit the profile, except that Patrick is locked away in an insane asylum. Peter calls Lois to inform her about the murdered child at the fat camp, but assures her that it is not her brother Patrick, who is still locked away. It is at that time that Meg announces that Patrick has arrived and entered the family room. Lois is understandably shocked. She whispers to Peter that Patrick is at their home. Peter, Joe, and Chris hurry back to the house in hopes of saving the family from Patrick. They enter Joe arrests Patrick for the murder of the child at the fat camp. Patrick declares his innocence in the murder. He is proven correct when Joe receives a call from the camp to learn that another fat kid has been murdered and could not be the killer. Patrick deduces that the killer is still at the camp and will not stop killing. At Peter's suggestion, Joe gets Patrick's help to seek out and stop the killer before he strikes again. They go back to the camp and where Patrick looks over the body and notices that the dead child, whose bed is next to Chris's, is blond, like Chris, and that the first fat kid strangled was wearing a baseball cap. Patrick's deduces that the killer was not after these two fat kids (cases of mistaken identity) and that Chris was the actual target and is still in danger. During this investigation, the killer enters the Griffin's home and attempts to strangle Chris. Chris fights back against his attacker, but is nearly strangled to death until Stewie saves him with an album photo of a hideous creature, causing the killer to have a heart attack and dropping dead. Chris thanks Stewie and Stewie thanks the hideous creature who gives him a thumbs up and Stewie returns the gesture. The mystery killer turns out to have been Charles Yamamoto who wanted to kill Chris because had bested him in the hot dog eating contest. He was also the man, according to Patrick, who had opened the door to Patrick's cell to leave the asylum, thus wanting everyone to blame Patrick for the murders. Patrick uses this time when Joe is deducing the motive to disappear. During this storyline, Brian finds the photo album to scare Stewie. Stewie would overcome his fear once he learns that it is just an album cover.
