Plot Overview

Peter's 25th high school class reunion is fast approaching. Fearful that he has not accomplished anything noteworthy and that his classmates are now rich and highly successful, Peter "invents" a career and list of accomplishments for himself, settling on being a cowboy astronaut millionaire. However, Peter's ruse is exposed when he meets New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady; an emotionally distraught Peter gets drunk, but then has to vomit and rushes to the restroom, knocking down people in the process. Brady is impressed with what he views as tackling skills, and it isn't long before Peter has (somehow) landed a job as starting center for New England.

Peter is successful at his new football career, and even wins several commercial endorsements. Naturally, the fame quickly goes to his head, as he exhibits showboating behavior after every touchdown he scores. Brady tries to counsel Peter on his showmanship, but that only inspires Peter to pull out all the stops on his touchdown for a later game: He drives a convertible onto the field and leads a massively choreographed version of the Broadway song "Shipoopi." Peter is fired and traded to the worst team in the NFL Europe: the London Silly Nannies (an old-style football team that is obviously undermanned).

Rather than get the message and accept the humility, Peter is determined to get revenge on the Patriots. Posing as Jay Leno, Peter challenges Brady to a game between the Patriots and Silly Nannies. When the game takes place, all of Peter's new Silly Nanny teammates run away, leaving Peter to fend for himself. Rather than gloat about finally putting Peter in his place, Brady tells him that he admires him for standing up to a fearsome team, and says he has earned his respect.

Subplot

Stewie becomes a sports bookie and takes a $50 bet from Brian on a Celebrity Boxing match pitting Mike Tyson vs. Carol Channing. Brian bets on Tyson and loses. Stewie comes to collect, but Brian laughs him off and — perhaps thinking Stewie will forget the whole bookie idea as another of his whims — tells him he'll have the money next week.

When next week comes, Stewie reveals that he is serious about settling the bet and, on two occasions, savagely beats Brian (using such means as a golf club and a flamethrower) to coerce him into to paying up. Eventually, Brian agrees to pay off the bet. After Stewie's bet is satisfied, the tyke offers Brian an opportunity to get one "free revenge shot" to make up for all the torture he caused. After biding his time and making Stewie worry about what could happen and when, Brian — while the Griffins are in London, watching the Patriots-Silly Nannies game — nonchalantly shoves Stewie in front of a moving bus.
